Those signs are posted all over BC. In my younger days, my friend and I were enjoying some underage drinking on a beach near Kelowna and tried to steal one. They’re impossible to get off with any normal tool, in case you were wondering.
For what it is worth, I’ve seen nearly the exact sign (well, for some reason it doesn’t have anything about Vancouver on it) in suburban Cleveland… Close enough to Canada but still American
I think the guy who makes these signs is from Vancouver. If you take the road west from deep cove, there are similarly-styled signs that say “deer crossing,” but have pictures of camels/elephants. I’ll get a picture next time I drive by.
It’s not just the Canadians who thoughtfully provide signage for dogs! You can find signs similar to this one throughout the Church St. Marketplace in Burlington, Vermont. They crack me up every time.
HA! We have a sign like that at our local park!
Arf, Bow Wow, Whine.
Fuck Yeah Vancouver!
Epic. Thats all I have to say… besides that, and that, and that… >.> <.<;;
woof woof poop lol
Now that one’s cute…
Ha ha. I’ve actually seen that sign, if memory serves.
canadians are so much cooler than americans.

Canadians are cheesier than Americans.

Yup, that’s Vancouver.
Those Canadians are so forward-thinking.

Sometimes the sign for the dogs is down at dog-eye-level.

Makes me think of the dog in the “SCUMM Bar” in “The Secret of Monkey Island”.

I’ve seen that one in Anchorage, AK as well.
You got to love their sense of humor in B.C. Still riding high from the Olympics.
